SPC Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystems (FAME) Division faced challenges in managing dispersed data across 22 country portals. The lack of a centralized, cloud-based database and bulk import functionality limited operational efficiency. Although advanced reporting tools existed, they were previously managed through spreadsheets, which made data consolidation and analysis time-consuming and prone to errors.
OpenSense Labs partnered with SPC FAME to implement a Drupal cloud-based centralized platform, integrated with Power BI dashboards, consolidating all member requests, training records, and feedback into a single, secure, and accessible system. This solution enabled real-time insights, scalable data management, and enhanced visual reporting for the organization.
