Description of Services:

Throughout our ten-year relationship, Trone has provided marketing strategy, website design and development, website updates and digital marketing services to the South Carolina Department of Commerce (SCDOC). 

Our work for SCDOC includes a Drupal website, (currently on Drupal 10) built for a state-funded agency with multiple stakeholders and target audiences. Within ten years, Trone has designed, architected, developed and launched SCDOC’s many virtual front doors. During our longstanding partnership, Trone and SC have evolved their digital footprint to meet changing business needs.

This means not only rebuilding, rearchitecting and rebranded their primary site twice, but partnering to develop creative and sustainable solutions for new challenges. For example, in 2020, website functionality was expanded to enable Commerce teams to quickly disseminate COVID resources through digital “hubs” on their website. In 2020, this same resource hub capability was so successful it was expanded into a new website home dedicated to supporting SC’s existing industries. And in 2023, another website was added demonstrating the economic growth of Electric Vehicles.

As a global economic development opportunity, Trone has supported SC with translation efforts. Currently the site is fully translated into five languages.
