Organizations Involved

Page & Sons partnered with Open Imagination to reimagine how the business presents itself digitally and how it serves its trade customers day to day. The ambition was not simply to refresh a website, but to create a platform that would remove customer friction, support growth, and better reflect the quality and depth of the portfolio.

As the business evolved, the existing digital setup no longer kept pace.  Onboarding new trade customers and sharing the product catalogue placed unnecessary pressure on the internal sales office, while the previous website struggled to provide a clear, current view of the range for both established customers and new trade prospects discovering the business for the first time.

Why Drupal was chosen

Drupal was the ideal choice for Page & Sons because it:

  • Provides a robust, enterprise-ready CMS that supports large catalogues, structured content, editorial control, and accessibility best practices.
  • Offers a solid open-source ecosystem for e-commerce through Drupal Commerce, Search API, Facets, Migrate, and a wide range of flexible integration modules.
  • Excels in complex business logic, including pricing hierarchies, structured product data, taxonomies, and customer-specific content.
  • Integrates with ERPs, PIMs, stock control systems, and bespoke business platforms — including Page & Sons’ internal system.

The combination of Drupal’s strengths and Open Imagination’s specialist knowledge allowed Page & Sons to move from a simple brochure site to a dynamic, integrated digital platform that can evolve for years to come.
