Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome)

The project’s goal was to convert the site from Laravel to Drupal 10 on the backend side, while keeping the frontend side untouched. One of the most important requirements was to conduct the conversion within one month. We successfully migrated the site and its content, and additionally added blog functionality, all within three weeks.

Why Drupal was chosen

Initially, the site was built with Laravel, which posed various limitations to our content publishing process. A common issue was that whenever we needed to add a new feature to the website, we had to involve a developer to code that feature, whereas in Drupal, it is usually sufficient to install a module. These features include Metatags, SEO optimization, structured data, sitemap, content management experience, caching, domain redirection depending on user location, WYSIWYG experience, and its various addons like ChatGPT integration, human-readable URLs, enhanced search functionality, etc.
