Immunize Nevada is widely recognized as Nevada’s trusted resource for immunizations and community health for all ages by fostering education and statewide collaboration. They save lives by preventing disease and promoting health with increasing the vaccination rates of Nevada’s children, teens, adults, and seniors; ensuring adequate public health resources; training healthcare professionals; and expanding health collaborations.
About the project

The Immunize Nevada website primarily required to serve regular state community-based programs updates and engagement.

The client wanted to integrate the event calendar in an organized and user-friendly way. With the help of Drupal modules like Full Calendar View, and Calendar DateTime; we have integrated view by month and list format. Along with this, we have integrated custom module with hook_cron to automatically delete events older than 90 days.
- We have integrated social media channels feeds to the website; thanks to Drupal community; there are some modules available like Social media channel feeds, and Instagram feeds quicker to customize.

The website data had been migrated from Drupal 7 to 9 with the help of Feeds module and manual process.

We performed a website ADA audit and fixed the minor modifications in the design as per WCAG 2.1 AA.
- To quickly discover the closest clinic location, we've created a clinical locator that lets people search by Zip code.

We had set up auto-post functionality to add new blogs and events from another state organization website.

We have implemented a custom Cookie preference code.
Why Drupal was chosen
Immunize Nevada website was required to handle increasing traffic for event engagement, and additional features in the time of COVID-19. Drupal meets the public sector’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and elevated citizens' digital experiences.
