Meet Tamaga

Tamaga is a travel knowledge infrastructure company focused on independent tourism.

We design and build Drupal-based platforms that structure the knowledge behind hotels, DMCs, tour operators, destinations and cultural routes: places, routes, rooms, offers, partners, claims, sources, seasons, languages and operational workflows.

Our work combines semantic architecture, Schema.org-first content modeling, structured data, multilingual governance, Drupal AI workflows and integrations with the transactional systems an organization already uses.

Tamaga grew from long-running tourism and Drupal implementation work through BlueMelon and now focuses that experience on a deeper problem: helping independent travel organizations keep what they mean, what travelers understand, what machines represent and what teams must deliver aligned.

Current work includes Tamaga Hospitality and the fictional Tamaga Hotel reference implementation, Outseason as an internal travel lab, and continuing platform work for Nomad’s Land.

Drupal Contributions

Tamaga is a new organization, so its organization-level Drupal contribution record is still developing.

Its founder, Dan Metille (dan_metille), has been active on Drupal.org since 2009. His existing community record includes issue-queue and patch contributions, documentation work, maintenance of the AI Audio Field module, and many years of Drupal-related services and implementation work.

Tamaga currently uses Drupal as the platform layer for travel knowledge infrastructure, with particular interest in Schema.org-first content architecture, structured entities and relationships, multilingual governance, Drupal AI, workflow automation, reusable Recipes, APIs and integrations.

As the patterns developed through Tamaga Hospitality, Outseason and client implementations mature, we intend to contribute back where useful through issue reports, patches, documentation, implementation examples, Recipes or modules, and public technical field notes.

Areas of particular interest include Schema.org Blueprints, Drupal AI, semantic content modeling, structured-data integrity, multilingual travel platforms and reusable patterns for tourism knowledge systems.
