State of Geneva

Geneva is one of the 26 cantons - or states - that make up Switzerland. The « État de Genève » is the public administration of the canton. It provides services for the canton's 500,000 habitants, in the areas of social welfare, education, health, taxes, security, and more. The IT department of the État de Genève promotes the contribution of its workers to the open source community effort. See also its GitHub page.
