Meet IT.NRW

About IT.NRW:

As a public corporation, we carry out tasks in the fields of information technology and statistics for the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia. We develop, operate, administer and monitor basic areas of the IT infrastructure. Additionally, we advise and support the use of information technology for the governmental departments and institutions. Our range of IT services is tailored to the special requirements of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia. This includes individual products as well as complete solutions, nationwide infrastructures and consulting services.

As one of the service providers for the development of Drupal-based projects of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, we have created and currently operate around 70 Drupal-based websites.

Drupal Contributions

  • We promote the use of Drupal to the state government of North-Rhine-Westphalia when developing software solutions.
  • We contribute to issues in Drupal core and contributed modules.
  • We are maintaining nrwGOV, a drupal-based distribution for the state government of NRW.
