Meet CodeIt Wisely

CodeIt Wisely is a Drupal consultancy company based in Montreal, Canada. We handle Drupal projects end to end: Drupal 10 and 11 development, D7-to-D11 migrations, site building, theming, performance and security audits, and ongoing maintenance. We also specialize in Drupal + AI integration on the drupal/ai stack, with a focus on cost governance and token metering, and we maintain the AI Metering module.

We take part in the Drupal Montreal community and contribute back through modules, issue queue work. We work in French and English, with clients in Canada and abroad.

Contributed modules

  • We created and maintain AI Metering, which tracks tokens and costs for the Drupal AI ecosystem: per-user monthly quotas, cost reporting across providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Ollama, or any provider on the drupal/ai stack), alert thresholds, and automatic fallback to a local model when a quota is reached.

Patches and issue queue

  • We contribute upstream to the AI module, where we submitted token usage reporting for streamed operations (#3586522).
  • We maintain the AI Metering issue queue: code review follow-ups, Drupal 12 compatibility work, and tagged releases.

Community

  • We are active in the Drupal Montréal community.
  • We presented AI Metering at the May 2026 Drupal Montréal meetup, with a live demo of usage tracking on AI translations.
