The EU-LAC Foundation was created in 2010 by the Heads of State and Government of the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) member states. Its Members are the Member states of the EU and CELAC as well as the EU itself. The Foundation is a tool of the EU-LAC partnership and its activities feed into the intergovernmental dialogue, in line with the bi-regional Action Plan.
We took over the development and maintenance of a Drupal 8 and a Drupal 7 site. We had to migrate the hosting and consolidate the functionalities while adding many new features. After a successful consolidation and migration the main site and the intranet both run on Drupal 10 and we've been busy adding new features and enhancements.
The original goals were to migrate to a new hosting, and to upgrade the sites.
During the discovery we've identified that some of the featured implemented on the main website belong to the Intranet and vice-versa. During the migration we've consolidated these features and now it is consistent, that the membership portal is the intranet, and the main website holds only public facing content.

Both sites were already on Drupal. We are proud that we could migrate the Drupal 7 based intranet as well to a modern and supported version of Drupal.
