Topdeck Travel is more than just a tour operator. They are travel-enthusiasts who craft amazing trips to far off destinations for people aged 18 to 39. Topdeck offers 330 different tours in 65 countries offering adventurous minded travellers the opportunity to discovery amazing new experiences.

Topdeck Travel selected Drupal to create a website that could bring their proposition to life and enable travellers to be inspired and to book their holidays.

Project Goals

Launch their new website using Drupal 8
Increase online, direct from consumer sales, reducing reliance on 3rd party travel agents
Implementation of Single Sign On (SSO) across historical websites, apps and the new website to maintain consistency across all digital platforms throughout phased roll out.
Creation of a digital platform that could be used for sister brands, Back Roads Touring and Blue Roads Touring.
Alignment of Topdeck Travel’s applications architecture with the parent Group (Flightcentre)

The Solution

Delivering a customer focused, intuitive website that would delight users and increase conversion rate
Re-architecting the entire commerce flow using Drupal 8 and Drupal Commerce to replace existing custom coded checkout process.
Re-factoring integration with 3rd party product and order management system to improve integration quality and performance.
Create a forked version of the code base to launch 2 new e-commerce websites, delivering a consumer facing proposition for the first time for sister brands Back Roads Touring and Blue Roads Touring.
