Axelerant helped SUNY Maritime College with the migration of www.sunymaritime.edu from a proprietary Microsoft .NET platform to Drupal 7. The migration included translating the current website structure, layout, and design to the Drupal 7 CMS platform, building a Responsive layout for mobile, and migration of their existing content and digital assets.
About the project
The project requirements placed in front of us were:
- The CMS should be easy to use and maintain
- Delivery should be on-cost
- The site should be accessible on mobile, tablet and desktop platforms
- Data migration accuracy should be high
The out come of the project was to the client's satisfaction:
- The existing .NET website’s users and content were migrated successfully to Drupal 7
- High ease of management of content
- Individual departments can manage their own content
