E-Sepia developed the official website of OSETH, the organization responsible for the development, coordination, supervision and control of public urban passenger transport in Thessaloniki. The platform acts as the central digital hub for passenger information, public announcements, ticketing guidance and access to online services.
The website provides structured access to:
- Public transport announcements and service updates
- Bus routes, timetables and network information
- ThessTicket and ThessCard information
- Online card issuance and recharge flows
- Ticket prices and fare categories
- Public tenders, reports and institutional documents
- Contact forms and passenger communication channels
- Greek and English content
A key part of the platform is the support for digital passenger services around ThessTicket and ThessCard. Citizens can access information about smart tickets and personalized cards, learn how to issue or recharge them, and proceed to online purchase or card issuance through the website.
About the project
The result is a modern, citizen-focused digital platform that improves access to public transport information in Thessaloniki and supports the digital transformation of OSETH’s passenger services. The website offers a strong foundation for future integrations, enhanced mobility services and improved communication with the travelling public.
Why Drupal was chosen
Drupal was selected because OSETH required a reliable, scalable and secure platform capable of supporting a large amount of structured public information. The project benefits from Drupal’s strengths in content modelling, multilingual content, taxonomy, editorial workflows and integration with external systems.
