The Interreligious Platform for Dialogue and Cooperation (IPDC) is an initiative supported primarily by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).
KAICIID needed to revamp the IPDC design to reflect its new identity in addition to upgrading the UX features and thus contacted Vardot to deliver on this objective.
About the project
Engagement-driven Design
The layout of each webpage was designed based on careful analysis of user behavior and applying design system best practices to ensure the IPDC digital experience would be accessible to all targeted audiences.
Taking into consideration the impact of Core Web Vitals, our UI/UX team designed the website around the most important features, functions, components, and content.
Enhanced Searchability
The content-heavy website was structured based on the appropriate and relevant meta-tags and categories for ideal search engine indexing.
This enhanced feature will significantly boost the page performance rank for each webpage on the IPDC platform in addition to providing website visitors with the ideal user experience.
Website visitors can:
- Easily find the content they are looking for via Apache Solr-powered on-site search engine.
- Navigate through the website content in a guided and contextual user journey thanks to the relations between relevant content types and formats.
Reaching a Wider Audience
The diverse and global nature of the target audiences meant that the IPDC platform's content should be accessible and easily searchable across all languages.
The IPDC content marketing team has the ability to upload their content once and translate it automatically to any language they desire - enhanced for searching behavior for all major search engines.
