Why Drupal was chosen

Genesis had used Drupal 7 for years and wanted to retain the flexibility and content structure they had developed. Rebuilding on modern Drupal was the natural choice due to its long-term support, strong migration tools, and ability to provide a more intuitive editorial experience.
