Blck.ink is a Ukrainian company which provides printing services. You can either choose one of the posters presented on the website or create your own, choose size and add frame. Blck.ink does not have an offline store, that is why it was very important to create the best user experience and make the website structured and easy to navigate for both customer and administrator.
Blck.ink is a young company which decided to boost their sales creating a website, so we had to build it from scratch, provide not only development but also UI/UX design services.
About the project
Goals: increase sales, extend product range, create positive customer experience with building personalized posters.
Requirements: responsive and user friendly website, easy navigation, easy content management, online product builder, online shopping and payment system, simple design.
Outcome: We have built and designed a responsive and very easy to navigate website within 3 months, used Commerce, Liqpay Gateway, Product Builder, Webform, Flag, Slick and Blazy modules. Based on these modules, we’ve launched a fast and reliable website. Especially, keeping in mind the ability to frequently roll out new templates for custom products.
Why Drupal was chosen
Blck.ink designers are constantly working on expanding the range of the products, adding new categories, styles and new templates for customized printing, that is why it was very important to make the website easy to manage. The peculiar feature of the website is customized printing, that is why we used our own Product Builder module.
Frankly speaking, that is the main reason why Drupal was chosen. In our opinion, Commerce for Drupal 8 has very flexible architecture and it was not a big problem to extend it to have customizable products with a preview.
As statistics show, customers really like building their own products and being able to see the end result right away. It is very important for a young company to keep the website secure and maintainable and Drupal is a perfect choice for it.
