The CCIM Institute is the leader in the commercial real estate profession. After undergoing a rebrand, they partnered with Sandstorm to redesign and redevelop the online experience in Drupal Acquia and bring the new brand experience to life.
The CCIM Institute’s digital strategy focused on deep integration with their Fonteva AMS and SSO across the ecosystem and personalization. The experience delivers tailored content, education and resources that help to members advance their careers no matter where they are in their journey.
The CCIM Institute needed to elevate its brand identity and story and completely redesign and redevelop its website, which was on an aging version of Ektron/Episerver (earlier version to Optimizely.) The brand and the site needed to be modernized to better serve the needs of its members, designees, prospects and the broader community.
We started with user and stakeholder research to inform the requirements and roadmap for the redesign. Based on these insights, the CCIM Institute determined they needed to refresh the brand. We also identified the biggest revenue drivers (events, courses and memberships) and prioritized personalization in those areas. The personalization leverages their association management system data to determine membership level and message based on their status. The experience delivers tailored content, education and resources that help to members advance their careers no matter where they are in their journey.
Drupal was selected for its performance, handling of permissions, integrations, handling of structured content and personalization capabilities.
