About the project
The Goal
The main objective of the project was to completely renew Piccolo Teatro di Milano's institutional website and seamlessly integrate it with their ticketing system, SecuTix. This would enhance both the user experience and internal workflows by ensuring a unified and efficient platform.
The Requirements
To achieve this goal, the new website needed to be:
- Secure: Ensuring the protection of user data and content.
- High-performing: Delivering a fast and reliable browsing experience for visitors.
- User-friendly: Allowing the theater’s marketing and communication teams to manage content easily and efficiently, without requiring technical expertise.
The Outcome
Through close collaboration between the design agency, the Piccolo Teatro di Milano communication team, and our project management and development teams, we successfully delivered a modern, fully integrated website. Since its launch, the platform has been running flawlessly, significantly reducing workload by eliminating duplicate data entry between the ticketing system and the website. The result is a visually striking and highly functional website that aligns with the prestigious identity of Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
Back to topWhy Drupal was chosen
Drupal was the ideal choice for Piccolo Teatro di Milano due to its flexibility, security, and robust content management capabilities. The theater needed a platform that would empower its communication and marketing teams to manage content independently, without technical constraints. Drupal’s user-friendly interface allows them to update performances, news, and multimedia content effortlessly.
Additionally, Drupal’s ability to integrate seamlessly with third-party systems, such as SecuTix for ticketing, was a key factor. This integration eliminates redundant data entry, reducing errors and improving efficiency. Its scalability ensures that the website can grow alongside the theater’s evolving digital needs, while its strong security framework protects sensitive user and transaction data.
