CI&T collaborated with Casa do Construtor to overcome strategic and technical challenges, resulting in a new platform that improved interaction with customers and franchisees, delivering value on time and within budget.
The primary objective was to enhance the interaction between clients and franchisees with Casa do Construtor through the development of a new digital platform.
Casa do Construtor had a limited budget and a challenging deadline of 5 months to launch the new platform.
The project was completed on time and within budget, generating the expected value and liberating Casa do Construtor from the limitations of its previous platform. The new portal improved the experience for clients and franchisees, enhancing their interaction with Casa do Construtor that had a 32% savings in vendor time, allowing their team to focus on more important activities.
Based on the context and objectives that Casa do Construtor had in the short, medium, and long term, among the solutions analyzed, Drupal was chosen because with it some pain points of the Marketing Department could already be addressed in the MVP (short term) and others through evolutions on this new platform, including API integrations with market tools (such as GA, ChatBot, Mailchimp, YouTube, etc.)

Drupal Commerce was used to assist in the development of an e-commerce framework integrated with a legacy system in Delphi. All communication regarding products, prices, and operation history was integrated via RabbitMQ. Gin and Search API were utilized to enhance usability for both admin and end-users.
